This course includes four books and a variety of articles.  What readings were particularly useful?  Why?  In what ways?  What readings seemed less relevant?  Why?  How so?  In this section, comments on what you learned (or did not learn) from the class reading materials.

Third Parties, Mediation, and Facilitation

What roles do third parties play in international conflict and negotiation situations?  What do course readings suggest?  Should a third party role be included in some simulations?  What "real world" conflict situations (e.g., Syria, Iran, North Korea) call for some third party role?
